One final down

December 13th, 2007 at 10:41 am

And three more to go. I'm feeling pretty good about it, but nervous at the same time. Last time I thought I aced the exam in this class, I ended up with 88%. Got all the major questions correct, but I missed out on the multiple choices because I thought the test was too easy and didn't read it carefully enough. Those were tricky.

Had hoped to get all A or A-, but at this rate, I might end up with one to two B+. Note to self, put in more effort during the semester so I don't have to work so hard for the final.

I remember years ago i took a math test as part of the interview to work as a dispatcher for Roadway, a trucking company.

Math has never been my strongpoint, but this was all addition and subtraction, by hand, of course. It was a timed test, and when i saw i had time left over, instead of just turning the test in, i decided to go back and doublecheck my answers, using addition to check the subtraction exercises, etc. I caught about 5 errors.

As it turned out, i had the highest score and they offered me the job. So always pays to doublecheck yourself.

Yup, yup, I made sure to double check and triple check this time around Smile

I still have 2 more finals to go. I'm kind of bummed after the second final. It was a comprehensive of 12 chapters and I completely forgot some acronyms like EDI, DSS and the most mortifying one, ROM.

None of my professors have finished grading yet, so I'm still on edge waiting for the results.

    Good luck Kimiko
